Epon Golf launches the AF505 irons
The AF-505 irons were presented in the 2018 PGA Merchadise Show by the end of January in Orlando, Florida. Epon has already launched for sales this week the new iron model, an improvement game iron forged in one piece.
With a new forging technique, Epon were able to meet that goal by producing an iron with the thinnest face of any 1-piece forging in the world that feels like a blade but performs like a super game-improvement iron.
It claims to have a 2,3mm thin face that allows to increase ball speed in 3mph as per tested in PGA show.
Being one piece forging from face to hosel it is not possible to bend the angles or widening the hosel. Epon recommends all customers to assemble with steel shafts.
The weight screws in the back are just decorative and can not be detached. Any modification, re-attachment or detachment will cause to be out of warranty.
Even though AF-505 is an improvement iron at address looks like a players iron, the big sole is not noticed unless you turn back the club and look directly to it.
AF-505 is available from #4~PW and during this year will be lanched an AW. The price per club it will be around USD 325.
