Onigawara, the demon resembling a gargoyle that can be seen in the roofs of japanese houses, can be part of your golf set.

A japanese roof construction company has launched a project into the japanese No.1 crowdfunding site, Makuake, to produce a putter with same material and technique like the one used to create the rooftop demons.

The idea for this project came when a professional golfer was teaching to an artisan of japanese traditional roof tiles a couple of years ago. The pro golfer suggested to the artisan the making of a putter as an "onigawara". The artisan took this idea and did a proto. The putter indeed was very unique and made an increadible impact at address. They found that not only the looks were unique and stunning, but the feel was increadible soft when hitting the ball.

But only with the word of mouth and the facebook site of the artisan was not enough to gain more popularity and it was decided to include the project into a crowdfunding site.

So if you are interested to obtain this impacting putter you can be part of the project that is active now through the Makuake (project here) site.
